The Eco Learning Center appreciates any contributions. Any material, monetary or volunteer service donation goes a long way to helping the ELC continue to expand educational opportunities in permaculture and sustainable systems. The ELC is currently planning the construction of three buildings on the property that will require both materials and labor. Additional alternative energy systems will be required to power these facilities. A food building/resource center will be built for food storage, for sheltered workshop meeting space and to house the library of resources on permaculture, sustainable systems and organic farming. A Bioshelter will help to extend the growing season by providing sheltered growing space, naturally heated by compost, rabbits, chickens and passive solar techniques. A caretaker's cabin will free up sheltered space to house ELC volunteers and interns.
